# Connect Claude Desktop to Revdoku

Use the Claude Desktop app to create and publish websites with Revdoku. There are two ways to connect.

This is the Claude Desktop method. For Claude on the web or Claude Code (the CLI), see the [full Claude connection guide](/claude/).

## 1. Create a Revdoku account first

Go to `https://app.revdoku.com`, create an account, and sign in before connecting.

## Method A — Paste the connection instructions

The quickest way: paste the copied Revdoku prompt into a Claude Desktop chat.

1. In the Revdoku app, click **New** -> **Copy Instructions for AI**.

2. Open a new chat in Claude Desktop, paste the instructions, and send. Claude connects to your Revdoku account and can start publishing.

## Method B — Add Revdoku as a custom connector (MCP server)

Set Revdoku up as a permanent connector. The steps mirror Claude web.

1. Open Claude Desktop settings and go to **Connectors**.

4. Click **Connect**, then **Allow Claude** on the Revdoku authorization screen.

> **You've connected Revdoku.** Now just ask **`publish to Revdoku`** and your AI publishes it as a live URL.

## Publish a test site

Ask Claude:

> Create a one-page project status website, save the files in Revdoku, publish it, and give me the public URL.

## Inspect the result from ChatGPT

After Claude Desktop publishes or uploads files to Revdoku, ChatGPT can inspect the same bucket if Revdoku is connected there too. Use it to list files or confirm the generated site structure before sharing.
